The Missouri Immunization Coalition (MIC) is celebrating two promotions within its ranks. Nicole Williams, formerly the Director of Programs, has been appointed Assistant Executive Director, retaining oversight of the programs department. In addition, John Shelby, previously a Communications Specialist, has stepped up to become the Director of Communications. The vacant Communications Specialist role will be filled promptly.

“Nicole’s well-deserved promotion highlights her exemplary leadership in advancing crucial immunization initiatives, while John’s thoroughly earned elevation underscores his invaluable contributions to strategic communication,” said Nicole Cope, MIC’s Executive Director. “These appointments not only acknowledge the outstanding accomplishments of Nicole and John but also emphasize MIC’s unwavering commitment to fostering and recognizing talent from within. It reflects our dedication to ensuring continued impact in our statewide mission of promoting immunizations and preventing disease.”
