Thank you for your membership in the Missouri Immunization Coalition (MIC). As you know, the MIC is a statewide nonprofit organization that was incorporated in January 2020 that advocates for Missouri families and healthcare providers striving to increase vaccination rates in Missouri. The MIC is seeking Board members for several positions for which the incumbent’s term is ending this year. This presents an opportunity for those interested in promoting immunizations and preventing disease in Missouri to get involved.
Terms expiring this year include President, Vice President, Central Regional Representative and Northeast Regional Representative. Lynelle Phillips, RN, MPH, President, Annie Eisenbeis, PharmD, Vice President, and Dr. Scott Henderson, the Central Regional Representative, are seeking another term. Candidates beyond these current individuals are encouraged to vie for these roles too. The Northeast Regional Representative is not seeking another term. Elections for all four positions will take place at the in-person General Membership Meeting at the Missouri Immunization Conference on April 25, 2024.
Responsibilities include attending MIC Board of Director’s meetings every other month, participating in quarterly MIC General Membership Meetings, and attending the annual Missouri Immunization Conference. Nominations should be submitted to Nicole Cope, MIC’s Executive Director, by April 12, 2024 (ncope@moimmunize.com).
