The Missouri Immunization Conference 2024: Building Immunity in Missouri Communities, held on April 25 and April 26, brought together healthcare professionals, researchers, and community leaders from across the state and beyond. Hosted by the Missouri Immunization Coalition at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia, Missouri, the event was a resounding success, fostering important discussions and sharing critical insights on enhancing immunization efforts within Missouri communities.
During the two-day conference, attendees had the opportunity to engage in a wide array of presentations, discussions, and networking. Speakers included renowned epidemiologists, immunologists, and public health experts who shared the latest research and strategies to improve vaccination rates and combat vaccine misinformation. A highlight of the conference was the powerful personal stories shared by three individuals who bravely recounted their experience dealing with vaccine-preventable diseases, underscoring the critical importance of immunizations in safeguarding community health.

The conference also featured an Exhibitor Hall where leading pharmaceutical companies and public health organizations showcased their latest products, services, and initiatives. We appreciate the exhibitors’ support and the valuable information they provided to all participants.
For those who could not attend or wish to revisit the sessions, we are pleased to announce that all conference speaker presentations were recorded. These recordings will be available on the Missouri Immunization Coalition’s YouTube channel later this summer. This initiative aims to ensure that the valuable insights shared at the Conference can reach a wider audience and continue to inform and inspire our community’s immunization efforts.
As we reflect on the success of this year’s conference, we are already looking forward to the Missouri Immunization Conference 2025.
